About the role
Ryder is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
- Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
- Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
- High degree of initiative and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Punctuality and good attendance record.
- Flexible schedule availability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment.

Pay
- $21.50 per hour.
- $1.00 shift premium when working second shift.
- $0.75 pay increase after 6 months of employment.
Schedule
- Second Shift Monday-Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
