Forklift Operator

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Dekalb, Illinois. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• A high degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work using health and safety methods.
• Available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.

Pay

Weekly pay starting at $20.30 per hour, with a flexible schedule from Wednesday 11:15 AM - 5:15 PM, Thursday - Saturday 5:15 AM - 4:45 PM.

Schedule

B Shift, Wednesday 11:15 AM - 5:15 PM, Thursday - Saturday 5:15 AM - 4:45 PM.
