Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Lawrenceville, GA. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path you can feel good about.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Support warehouse fulfillment specialists in distributing products across the US.
• Perform tasks within performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick and pack products, audit, and stage items.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• A valid Driver's License and ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• High degree of initiative.
• Excellent accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Working using health and safety methods.
• Available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Skills

• Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Scanners.
• Entering orders into a WMS System.

Pay

$17.39 per hour.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
