Forklift Operator
Job Summary
This position is responsible for operating a forklift without supervision while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures. This position will also assist with line operation and facility upkeep as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
- Transport materials to designated areas
- Unload and stack materials
- Inventory materials on the yard
- Maintain the yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
- Work with minimal supervision to ensure customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
- Excellent customer service skills are required
