Job Description
Operates forklift or other material handling equipment to lift, load, or move material as directed.
Principle Responsibilities
- Performs daily safety inspection of forklift before operating to ensure safety.
- Takes proper safety and precautionary measures when operating machinery.
- Supports essential logistic operations through storage and transportation.
- Notifies technicians in advance when forklifts need service.
- Comply with all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Familiarity and experience using RF scanner for picking, checking, and/or inventory functions
- Familiarity and experience using equipment such as sit-down forklift, reach truck, cherry picker
- Clean driving record
- Manual dexterity
- Diligent use of personal protective equipment
