Forklift Operator

Primary Duties

• Moving and weighing product going to and from production lines, freezers, and coolers.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Shipping and receiving paperwork completion.
• Other miscellaneous general warehouse support.

Job Requirements

• Excellent attendance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least one year forklift experience preferred.
• Some experience in a food processing or food manufacturing company preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English is a necessity.
• Good oral and written communication skills imperative.
• Clear and concise handwriting is imperative.
• Excellent attention to detail and mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to work well with others and with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Able to stand and work on your feet.
• Able to work in a wet and cold environment.

Benefits

Working hours are generally 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. During peak season the job may require overtime work hours later than 4:00 pm and/or weekends. Must be available during all production hours.
