About the role
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts to move and lift materials in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from forklifts using proper lifting techniques.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during forklift operation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material movements and status.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification.
- At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Strong physical condition to perform the required tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout and material handling procedures.
