We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Forklift Operator to join our Shipping & Receiving team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload materials
• Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functioning
• Support the implementation of warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders

Requirements

• Safety and quality focused
• Must be dependable
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling
• A minimum of 1 year or prior forklift experience required
• Familiarity with forklifts is essential
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift
