Forklift Operator
About the role
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, and stores products and/or materials using equipment to scan product and print labels. The role also involves completing paperwork and operating inventory management systems as needed. The Forklift Operator ensures product rotation procedures are followed and completes cycle counts as required. They are also responsible for performing daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and ensuring the facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs. Additionally, they communicate and report any incidents to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pass Background and Drug screen
