Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy
• Prepare, stage, and ship outgoing orders on time
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or warehouse systems
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Store products correctly in temperature-controlled environments (refrigerated/freezer)
• Follow all safety procedures, especially for cold storage operations
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and efficient
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors

Requirements

• 1+ year of warehouse or shipping & receiving experience preferred
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus
• Must be comfortable working in cold/freezer environments
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Good time management and teamwork skills

Schedule

• Full-time
• 2nd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Consistent schedule with opportunity for overtime

Pay & Benefits

• $20.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Temp-to-hire opportunity

Work Environment

• Cold storage facility (refrigerated and freezer areas)
• PPE provided for cold conditions
