Forklift Operator

Duties

• Perform order picking with precision using equipment and other warehouse tools to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure forklifts and heavy machinery remain in optimal working condition, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Support yard distribution operations by organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and ensuring proper load securing techniques are followed.
• Collaborate with yard supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety protocols, and implement best practices for materials handling.

Physical Requirements

• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and operating heavy equipment safely throughout shifts.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather elements.
