About the role

We are seeking qualified candidates for Forklift Operator for our Shipping Department at our Byhalia, Mississippi Distribution Center.

Schedule

Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products.
• Check assigned forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional.
• Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments.
• Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product.
• Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets.
• Ensure production standards are maintained.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED is desirable.
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving a reach/sit down, and walkie rider.
• Warehouse Management System experience desired; HighJump experience highly desired.
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time and push/pull lift up to 45 pounds.
