Forklift Operator
Responsibilities
- Use a forklift to load and unload materials, move items around the facility, and supply materials to production machines.
- Follow the production schedule, stack and organize goods, and check that loads are secure.
- Do daily equipment checks, use an RF scanner, and help keep the work area clean and safe.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good math, language, and reading skills.
- Basic computer skills may be required.
- A high degree of attention required to prevent injury and promote a safe work environment.
- Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
- Complete assignments accurately, safely, and on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- May be required to use an RF scanner gun.
- Have a clean driving record and valid state driver’s license.
- Obtain forklift certification per OSHA standards.
