Forklift Operator

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate electric forklift, which requires moving levers and pressing pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus in the cooler, freezer and the dry spaces of the warehouse to complete full and partial pallet order selection using forklift and with electric pallet jack when needed.
• Store and remove pallets of products from rack locations.
• Put product in overflow locations.
• Hand stack product on and off pallets into primary locations as required.
• Perform secondary duties of order selector and forklift operator as needed.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to stand, walk and use hands, fingers and feet to operate electric pallet forklift. Must be able to walk, bend, reach and stoop regularly.

Work Environment

An environment with temperatures of 0, 35, 65 degrees and ambient temperatures. Exposed to wet, hot, extreme cold and/or humid conditions. Notice level is usually loud with moving mechanical parts/equipment.
