Forklift Operator

About the role

As a key member of the DFW Distribution Center, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage industrial trucks (motor rider, hand trucks and/or hand/rider trucks) to load and unload materials and deliver.
• Ensure proper placement of pallets of materials for storage or distribution.
• Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Secure loads to the machine before transportation.
• Inspect for damages to vehicles.
• Schedule vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
• Operate and manage technical equipment.
• Manage inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• Pick and wrap orders for shipment.
• Identify workplace safety hazards.
• Adhere to safety management standards.
• Adhere to production schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid fork-lifting certificate.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Typical warehouse environment, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
