Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receive products timely.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
• Ensure that all finished product meets quality standards.
• Be ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Proficient operation of forklift and walkie rider (driving test will be given at interview).

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by shipping and/or receiving products timely and accurately. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. Our Forklift Operators are not sitting on a lift throughout the shift - there is frequent movement which includes lifting.

Schedule

1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Must have a valid California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Proficiency in operating forklift and walkie rider.
