Forklift Operator

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

• Operate a forklift to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Fulfill the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
• Fill and unload inbound shipments safely.
• Move product to storage locations efficiently.
• Stack and store product in appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy and free of damage.
• Load and unload product from trailers efficiently.
• Maintain neat, clean, and orderly facility’s equipment and materials.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed safety policies.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Avoid damage during product movement.
• Affirmatively assist in physical inventories.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years previous forklift operating experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times daily.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 4 hours a day before a break period.
