Forklift Operator

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and distribution team. This position is responsible for operating a sit-down 3-wheel Crown forklift to safely load, unload, transport, and store products throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down 3-wheel Crown forklift throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.
• Handle plastic and glass packaging materials on standard 40" x 48" pallets weighing up to approximately 1,200 pounds.
• Transport products throughout the distribution center and accurately place inventory into bulk floor locations or warehouse racking.
• Scan, receive, move, and ship inventory using RF scanners and the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures while operating equipment.
• Absorb general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required.
• Experience operating 3-wheel Crown forklifts preferred.
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to safely move pallets weighing up to approximately 1,200 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
