Forklift Operator
About the role
This position performs warehouse and material distribution tasks, including receiving and shipping product. You will move inventory by operating a forklift in a fast-paced medical technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound trucks (inter-company deliveries, vendors, etc.)
- Load outbound trucks (inter-company shipments, off-site warehouse, etc.)
- Locate and retrieve products as well as replenish picking locations using FEFO methodology
- Move pallets on dock
- Physically stack/transport product from larger sterilization pallet to regular pallet before moving by forklift to dock (as required)
- Ensure all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and procedures
- Maintain an acceptable work area as outlined in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Prioritize safety and maintain safe working conditions by adhering to proper operating practices and procedures
- Perform general warehouse associate duties
- Train new hires on RF functions
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Safety shoes are required for this position.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience of 1 year consecutive relevant experience
- 1 year minimum experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Reach Trucks
- Certified/Licensed to operate material handling equipment
- Minimum 1 year experience using an RF scanner

- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

- Safe operation of MHE
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions (written and oral)
- Adaptability to shifting priorities
Physical Demands
While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to:
- Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, and grasping
- Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type, which may include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers
- Occasional climbing
- Lifting over 50 lbs in some areas (not all)
Work Environment
- Work near moving mechanical parts
- Work in high, precarious places
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- Moderate to loud noise levels
This role requires a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain collaboration and operational excellence.

Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
