Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and arrange goods and materials
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments from trucks and storage units
• Perform regular inspections and upkeep of forklift machinery to ensure it operates correctly
• Follow all safety procedures to reduce hazards and avoid accidents
• Keep detailed records of inventory transfers and materials handled
• Cookordinate effectively with team members and supervisors through clear communication
• Maintain a clean and organized work area that meets safety standards
• Comply with all company policies and operational procedures at all times

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid certification or license to operate forklifts
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar setting
• Proficient in handling forklift controls and various attachments
• Deep understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices
• Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Meticulous with good record-keeping and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
