Responsibilities
- Truck drivers check-in to ensure timely shipping
- Prepare finished products for shipment to customers
- Adhere to performance standards for quality and quantity, including checking for damages and counting items
- Follow warehouse receiving and shipping procedures
- Accurately record and store raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
- Accurately handle and record corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and production
- Ensure good housekeeping within the warehouse
- Adhere to safety practices, including forklift and dock door safety checks, and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Follow golden safety rules
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
- Experience with Forklift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred
- Safety awareness and quality consciousness
- Physical demands: regular standing, walking, reaching, occasional climbing and balancing, frequent hand use, sitting, lifting up to 10 lbs, frequently lifting up to 30 lbs, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, close vision, ability to hear and speak, ability to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk
