Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices.
• Pushes, pulls, lifts, stacks, tiers, or moves products, equipment, or materials using lifting devices.
• Positions forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Inventories materials on work floor/production line, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
• Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.
• Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedures.
• Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tanks.
• Wears Company-provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Experience operating forklifts and similar equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
