FORKLIFT OPERATOR

About the role

This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Responsibilities

• Moves pallets and other materials through the warehouse
• Sorts pallets by hand when required
• Loads and unloads customer trailers
• Repairs damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations
• Operates forklifts with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Forklift certification preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
