Forklift Operator 3rd Shift

Location: Pratt (Beloit Corrugating), LLC – 1405 Gateway Blvd, Beloit, WI

Join a growing company in Beloit and start a lifelong career. As a Forklift Operator, you will safely operate and care for the forklift, efficiently handle and move materials and supplies, maintain accurate records, and load/unload trailers.

Requirements

• One year of experience within a manufacturing environment
• Two years of forklift experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
• Able to apply concepts of high school math
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
• Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Frequently exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud

Pay

Starting pay: $19/hour + shift differential. Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.
