Forklift Operator - 2nd shift Monday - Friday , - 2:30pm - 11pm

About the role

The Forklift Operator position within the Operations department reports directly to the Distribution Manager. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, with occasional weekend and evening shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment to load and unload product.
• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product.
• Follow established Dock Safety policies and complete lift inspections before operation.
• Report all equipment malfunctions to the manager or maintenance immediately.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage-free.
• Scan products accurately and match them with item codes, pick lists, stocking lists, and physical product.
• Complete all inbound and outbound paperwork accurately and completely.
• Report all product damage to the supervisor/manager.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor/manager.
• Be knowledgeable about multiple accounts and/or job functions within the given operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Benefits

Allen Distribution offers competitive compensation starting at $20.00 - $21.50 per hour, with a potential range of $21.50 - $23.00 per hour based on performance and qualifications.
