Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

Safety

You’ll safely move, stage, and load finished corrugated products while helping maintain inventory accuracy and supporting an efficient shipping operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operator a forklift to move, stage, and load finished corrugated products for shipment
• Verify products, quantities, and shipping paperwork before loading
• Load trailers safely while protecting product quality and minimizing damage
• Organize inventory and stage products for efficient shipping
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
• Work with production and shipping teams to meet customer delivery schedules
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping area
• Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional responsibilities as business needs require

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift or successfully complete company forklift certification
• Basic computer skills
• Corrugated manufacturing experience is a plus
• Dependable, safety focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work

What to Expect

• This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• You’ll spend most of your shift operating a forklift, moving finished products, loading trailers, and supporting shipping operations
• The facility is not climate controlled, and personal protective equipment is required on the production floor
• This position requires frequent sitting while operating equipment, getting on and off the forklift throughout the shift, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed

Pay

$17.50/hour – Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.

Schedule

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) — Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
