Safety
You’ll safely move, stage, and load finished corrugated products while helping maintain inventory accuracy and supporting an efficient shipping operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operator a forklift to move, stage, and load finished corrugated products for shipment
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping paperwork before loading
- Load trailers safely while protecting product quality and minimizing damage
- Organize inventory and stage products for efficient shipping
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
- Work with production and shipping teams to meet customer delivery schedules
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping area
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional responsibilities as business needs require
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or successfully complete company forklift certification
- Basic computer skills
- Corrugated manufacturing experience is a plus
- Dependable, safety focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work
What to Expect
- This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- You’ll spend most of your shift operating a forklift, moving finished products, loading trailers, and supporting shipping operations
- The facility is not climate controlled, and personal protective equipment is required on the production floor
- This position requires frequent sitting while operating equipment, getting on and off the forklift throughout the shift, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed
Pay
$17.50/hour – Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.
Schedule
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) — Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
