Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

Forklift Operator at Boot Barn is responsible for various tasks including pulling product for weekly distributions, preparing and staging orders for shipping, operating forklifts, back stocking, assisting with receiving, monitoring equipment, and loading/unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Pulls product for all weekly distributions to stores.
• Prepares and stages orders for shipping.
• Operates powered industrial forklift/order picker to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Ensures proper paperwork is completed before product is sent out to stores or events.
• Back stocks all incoming freight to respective bin locations.
• Affords assistance with receiving incoming freight, new store/event receiving and tagging.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Reports any issues related to the forklift equipment to direct supervisor/manager.
• Loads/unloads trucks when needed.
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, appearance and high degree of professionalism in communication and attitude with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors.
• Adheres to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Experience with warehouse operations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety.

Second shift, Monday through Friday, 4pm to 1:30am.
