Responsibilities
- Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas, including forklift and clamp truck
- Load and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standards
- Stock all goods in a safe and stable manner
- Communicate pertinent information to relief at shift change
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner; knowledge of 6S is a plus
- Know locations of and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers
- Complete forklift checklist
- Monitor and record all products returned or received
- Check accuracy of finished product count on pallets, verify product ID, ensure pallets have only one Port Ticket when removed from lines, and accurately complete all required paperwork
- Fill forklift propane tank at end of shift
- Perform accurate cycle counts as designated by Team Leaders
- Effectively organize and stage materials to support inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred
- Minimum of one year sit-down forklift experience required
- Clamp attachment operation experience is a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of mathematics
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing (English required)
- Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision
- Must be certified in Lockout/Tagout and Forklift Operation upon assignment

Compensation Includes Starting Pay Rate of $13.00/hour
