Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

This position involves driving a sit-down industrial forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials on the production floor, warehouse, and trailer with and without pallets.

Responsibilities

• Transport unfinished and finished jobs or goods into the correct areas
• Move goods for jobs in process to appropriate areas as needed
• Inspect incoming product
• Load and unload trailers
• Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor

Requirements

• 1 year of experience operating a propane-powered sit-down forklift (Required)
• 1 year of manufacturing experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of warehouse management experience (Preferred)

Schedule

10–12 hour shift, Monday to Saturday
