Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. Headquartered in Cary, N.C., we serve residential and commercial customers across the new construction and Repair & Remodel (R&R) markets.
Pay
$18 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differential.
Schedule
2nd shift: 5:00pm - 3:30am, Monday - Friday (Saturdays based on business need).
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage locations.
- Transport raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to designated areas.
- Verify materials against paperwork, labels, or system records.
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or storage.
- Perform basic equipment inspections and report mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety rules, traffic patterns, and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and material audits as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read work instructions, labels, and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Work Environment
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Use of PPE as required (safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, steel/composite toe shoes).
- Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
