Forklift Operator, 1st Shift, Salem, OR

About the role

Forklift Operator position available at Leadpoint Business Services in Salem, OR. Primary responsibility is to safely move materials from conveyor belts to the perimeter of the facility using a forklift. Shift: 6am - 4:30pm (Mon-Sat), 1st shift. Full-time, safety-oriented position offering growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Move materials from conveyor belts to the perimeter of the facility using a forklift.
• Perform daily equipment safety inspections.
• Communicate mechanical issues to the maintenance department for repair.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ months prior experience required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willing to consent to a background check.
• Willing to consent to a drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• A Front-End Loader certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Must have an understanding of safety compliance.

• $19.00 per hour, plus overtime pay at time and a half.
