Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
- Navigate and correct potential process errors before they impact customers
- Recognize and address damaged products at any point in the warehousing process
- Pull and stage orders accurately according to carrier locations and verify quantities
- Prepare and maintain accurate receiving, storage, and shipping documentation
- Follow location and work center safety and security policies and procedures
- Train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment
- Perform housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned
- Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A clean driving record and a personal vehicle for travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the day
- Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS system
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- The ability to input data into a computer system
- Work overtime as assigned
- A valid driver's license and the ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications
Qualifications
- Two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to input data into a computer system
- Work overtime as assigned
- A valid driver's license and the ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications

- Powerful technical skills, including Microsoft Office applications
