Pay
$21.50 per hour with a $0.75 pay increase after 6 months of employment.

- 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

About the role
Warehouse Forklift Operators work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products handled include medical supplies. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
- Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator’s license/certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work within a diverse environment and maintain professional relationships at all levels
- Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
- High level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must follow health and safety methods
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
