Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description: The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This position operates various material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks, while supporting receiving, staging, line supply, shipping, warehouse organization, and inventory control activities. The Forklift Operator must maintain compliance with all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and quality standards. Responsibilities: Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks in accordance with company safety proceduresLoad, unload, transport, and store materials, components, and finished products throughout the facilityAccurately utilize inventory management and barcode scanning systems to track material movements and maintain inventory accuracyPerform duties within Receiving, Staging, General Warehouse, Line Supply, Shipping, Mezzanine, and Clean-Up areas as assignedUnload incoming shipments and verify components by identifying, counting, and inspecting components upon receiptProperly label, ticket, and store materials in designated warehouse locationsTransport materials from warehouse storage or shuttle locations to production and staging areasSupply production lines with the correct components and return unused components to inventoryMove palletized finished goods from production areas to shipping locationsPrepare, verify, and load customer shipments according to shipping documentation and company proceduresConduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediatelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policiesAssist with warehouse clean-up and other duties as assigned by management Required Skills And Competencies Strong forklift operation and material handling skillsAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of inventory control and barcode scanning systemsGood written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentationStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize tasks and meet production schedulesCommitment to workplace safety and quality standardsReliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Experience and/or Education: Minimum of 2 years forklift experienceExperience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks requiredPreferred experience working with chemicals, chemical products and GMP facilityHigh school diploma, GED or equivalentMust be able to successfully pass both written and driving tests About Hubot Hubot, Inc. is an FDA-registered contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) serving global pharmaceutical and personal care brands — including Fortune 500 clients.
