Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team at the Tonawanda processing plant. The company, in business since 2005, collects and recycles used cooking oil to produce biodiesel, operating in 15 states serving over 27,000 locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers
• Assist laborers with general maintenance tasks including scraping/cleaning equipment, emptying vats, and hand scraping dumpsters
• Move supplies throughout the facility
• Assist with organizing materials, perform general warehouse duties, and maintain a clean work environment
• Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of forklift experience required
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
• Must maintain a drug‑free lifestyle (complies with the Federal Drug‑Free Workplace Act)

Full‑time, in‑person position.

Pay

Starting wage: $28 per hour

Schedule

First shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
