Forklift Mechanic-SYGMA- Kansas City, MO

About the role

Responsible for maintaining the organization's warehouse equipment.

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and Raymond lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on organization’s lift trucks, batteries, and accessories.
• Maintain MHE parts inventory and shop.
• Process work order in Maintenance software after completion of each job.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment, electrical/electronic systems, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Ability to safely operate all warehouse equipment.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Technical degree.
• Previous lift truck repair experience.
• Welding experience.
• Knowledge of various types of testing equipment.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
