Forklift Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers Company offers an opportunity for a Forklift Mechanic at their Talmo, GA Service Center. The position requires a clean driving record for the past 5 years, 3 years of experience with the repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks, electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience, and aerial lift repair/maintenance experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to use a computer for various tasks, including creating repair work orders, and must have their own tools on site. The company provides specialized tools and the position involves working in a fast-paced environment and being self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• 3 years of experience with the repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must be able to use a computer for several different tasks including creating repair work orders.
• Must have your own tools on site.
