Forklift - Machine Operator Assist

We are seeking Production Workers with experience operating a Forklift and/or Clamp Truck at our new Longview, WA Corrugated Plant. You will be responsible for different phases of the production process and for efficiently producing high-quality product.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or clamp truck as part of production process
• Perform quality assurance checks during the production process
• Manage upkeep and maintenance of machines
• Efficiently produce high-quality product across different phases of production

Requirements

• Must have experience operating a forklift or clamp truck
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time or part-time employment or schooling (or combination) within the last 4 years
• Availability to work all 3 rotating shifts (days, swing and grave) including weekends and holidays
• Proven record of performance, attendance and attention to detail
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and move up in previous jobs
• Initiates own learning
• Gets along well with others; helpful
• Can handle physical requirements: heat, noise, shift work (8- and 12-hour shifts), working inside and outside
• Mechanical, numerical, and verbal aptitude to learn jobs quickly
• All team members responsible for safety (personal and food safety) and must drive positive safety culture
• Required to follow safety policies and procedures
• Candidates must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, before starting employment

Pay

The salary range for this position is $23.42/hr, depending on your role, level, and location. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
