Forklift Lead - Weekdays 6am - 2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Supports, trains and certifies newly hired LTOs
• Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner
• In the absence of the Shift Supervisor, acts as Supervisor as needed
• Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
• Affords assistance to Supervisors and management in planning, assigning, and directing work
• Affords assistance to LTOs with daily issues
• Affords assistance to other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed
• Observes all company safety rules and assists in enforcement as appropriate
• Observes and reports noncompliance with corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices when observed

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Three or more years of related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.)
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies
