Forklift Driver/Order Filler/Stocker

Job Title: Forklift Driver/Order Fillers/Stocker Job Summary:The purpose of this classification is to perform the daily order filling and stocking activities for the Company Distribution Department. This position will load/unload trugs, tag and sort merchandise, operate light and heavy equipment in order to fulfill assigned duties. Essential Duties:The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statement of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned. Loads/unloads trucks in order to distribute merchandise in the warehouse.Stocks and/or picks merchandise on shelves, bins, and locations utilizing various pieces of equipment and reports/documents.Maintains the work area in a safe and orderly manner by performing various maintenance duties such as picking up trash, sweeping, dusting, etc. Operates light and heavy equipment such as forklift, order picker, tow motor, squeeze press, tugger, etc. to complete essential job functions/Performs light maintenance on department equipment as needed. Performs cycle count inventory. Additional Functions:Substitutes for co-workers in temporary absences of samePerforms other related duties as required Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED plus appropriate required certificationsSix (6) months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, or Any combination of training experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities for this position #BBL
