Forklift Driver, Operations-M-F Days

About the role

Join our growing team and become part of a fast-paced, high-tech warehouse operation where safety, teamwork, and quality are top priorities. As a Forklift Operator, Operations, you'll play a key role in keeping products moving efficiently by operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, picking and staging orders, and maintaining accurate inventory using RF scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Input data accurately into WMS.
• Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Prepare freight for operations accurately and in a timely manner as required.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Moves product from staging and/or storage to production lines and/or staging docks.
• Proper documentation must accompany freight.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Aid in physical inventories.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, and assist in security of the warehouse.
• Maintain an active forklift certification.
• Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Perform or assist in changing fuel tanks on forklifts as needed.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Repair pallets when necessary, trailers, and truck bays as requested.
• Help maintain the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Clean background and drug screen required.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
• Basic computer skills.
• RF Scanners.
• WMS functions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Accuracy and accomplishment of job tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Operational Skills: Able to operate MHE.
• Background: Clean background and drug screen required.
• Training: Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, RF Scanners, WMS functions.
• Other Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.

Pay

The expected base pay range is $16.81-$21.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
