Forklift Driver - Material Receiving

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance with stocking materials required for production and processing.
• Assists with loading and unloading of trucks.
• Assists with shrink/damage investigations and product rotation.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack.
• Accurately counts all incoming materials and signs off on bill of ladings.
• Maintains inventory accuracy.
• Completes necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Assists Quality and other departments with sampling procedures.
• Fills in for Lead Person when needed.
• Ensures regulatory compliance at all times.
• Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a company forklift license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to work independently or with others in a team environment.
• Self-motivated while willing to ask questions and seek direction.
• Possesses good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to stand on hard surface most of the shift, ascend and descend stairs, bend, stoop or crouch, grasp and reach.
