Responsibilities
- Affords assistance with stocking materials required for production and processing.
- Assists with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Assists with shrink/damage investigations and product rotation.
- Operates forklift and pallet jack.
- Accurately counts all incoming materials and signs off on bill of ladings.
- Maintains inventory accuracy.
- Completes necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Assists Quality and other departments with sampling procedures.
- Fills in for Lead Person when needed.
- Ensures regulatory compliance at all times.
- Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a company forklift license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to work independently or with others in a team environment.
- Self-motivated while willing to ask questions and seek direction.
- Possesses good hand-eye coordination.
- Able to stand on hard surface most of the shift, ascend and descend stairs, bend, stoop or crouch, grasp and reach.
