Forklift Driver

About the role

Forklift Driver responsible for transporting materials, tools, equipment, and products by operating motorized and non-motorized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and count items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Operate equipment to place palletized materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open boxes, crates, and other containers and prepare parcels for shipping.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ months experience with a Raymond 7500 stand-up reach forklift.
• Comfortable being on feet for the majority of the scheduled work shift.
• Steel-toe shoes are required starting on Day 1.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Possess a customer-centric commitment to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Display energetic, self-motivated, and quick thinking with a positive attitude.
• Flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to walk and occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (flexible to work Saturdays on occasion).

Pay

21.00 USD Per Hour

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The position will be onsite and available to candidates local to Moreno Valley, CA.
