Forklift Driver

About the role
Responsible for pulling orders, prepping for outbound shipment, loading and unloading freight accurately, inspection, and other warehouse-related duties. Ensure all products are accurately pulled and over-packed correctly to customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc.
- Complete daily forklift inspection sheet prior to operation.
- Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
- Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments.
- Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch, and quantity.
- Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork.
- Over-box pallets, wrap pallets, and strap pallets in preparation for shipment.
- Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock.
- Keep shipping supplies organized and communicate supply needs.
- Complete other duties or tasks as assigned.
Pay
$21.75/hour base pay + $2/hour shift differential. Weekend premium (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) adds an extra $1.50/hour.
Schedule
12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
