About the role

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift within facility production lines to various trailers and compactors
• Affirm that trailers are not overfilled or exceed weight limits
• Handle trailer and compactor exchanges
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated A-Feed areas (including floors, assigned lifts, compactors, and totes)
• Strictly adhere to lockout/tagout procedures
• Sort and bail common recycle materials
• Collect materials from around the facility to a common location
• Maintain and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols
• Help maintain a safe and food-safe environment through teamwork and proper food sanitation training
• Keep a record of scrap for accountability purposes

Requirements

• Must pass drug screen and background check
• A strong work ethic
• The ability to work alone or within a team is mandatory
• Safety-conscious

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred

Skills

• Critical thinking and problem-solving
• Comprehend and follow instructions
• Understand production processes and systems

Pay

$18.50 per hour, bi-weekly

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
• Night shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
• Weekend work required
