Forklift Driver 2nd Shift

Starting at $21.34 an hour plus $0.75 shift differential. Shift: 2nd (2pm-10pm). Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Move various sized units and/or products from various sources to the next staging area.
• Maintain accurate records of the location of each unit moved.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and general housekeeping duties.
• Assist general operations when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Must be capable of getting forklift certified and very safety conscious.
• Two years of forklift operation preferred.
• Experience with “scanner” or “barcode” warehouse management inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to maintain and/or identify equipment maintenance needs.
• Multi-tasking, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, tape measure, and time management skills.
• Able to function in extreme temperatures and available for weekend work schedules.

Skills

• Language Skills: Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Mathematical Skills: Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of:
  • Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
  • Product layouts and production specifications.
  • Product quality specifications and quality standards.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Will be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
