Forklift Driver 1st shift

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into elevated rack locations
• Retrieve palletized units from rack locations for outbound shipments
• Use RF scanners to accurately record inventory, weights, counts, and product conditions
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and lifting devices
• Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment checklists
• Monitor battery charge levels, maintain batteries, and ensure equipment is properly stored and charged
• Work with other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Stand-up Reach Forklift experience
• RF Scanner experience
• Warehouse experience in a high-volume distribution environment
• Case Picking experience (highly desired)
• Clamp Forklift experience (highly desired)
• Barrel Grabber attachment experience (highly desired)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from freezer environments as low as -20°F to dry storage environments up to 100°F while wearing company-provided PPE
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse noise levels
