Fork Truck Driver - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Load/unload and move materials (trash/recyclables/Cardboard) by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
• Operate a variety of forklift equipment to load, unload and move materials around the plant.
• Maintain facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
• Work in a manufacturing setting with regular exposure.
• Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, and pivot.
• Overtime is mandatory and based on production schedule.

Experience

• 1+ years of previous industrial material handling experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Training is available to candidates based on applicant experience in related fields.
• Stand‑up fork‑truck experience is a plus.

Education & Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified by C&W Services to operate a forklift before starting work (training and certification provided through C&W Services).

Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to maintain forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and to write intelligible reports.
• Knowledge of plant layout including location of materials.
• Familiarity with plant safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Pay

Pay: $20.76. The compensation for the position is: $17.65 – $20.76. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

Schedule

Schedule: Sunday‑Thursday. Sunday (7:30 pm‑6:00 am), Monday‑Thursday (9:30 pm‑6:00 am).
