Fork Truck Driver - 3rd Shift

Amentum is seeking Fork Truck Drivers for our industrial maintenance team in Miami, FL.

Schedule

Typical work schedule is Sunday – Friday – Monday, 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM; hours may vary based on business demand.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials from one location to another inside and outside of facility.
• Maintain professional and courteous customer relations including client, vendor, and internal team.
• Actively participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain safety work practices as defined by Amentum.
• Communicate and advise MHE related concerns to fellow employees and management.
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor/lead.

Requirements

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Previous forklift operation experience and ability to pass forklift certification.
• Working knowledge of power and hand tools used in building and assembling boxes.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and squat repetitively during shift.
• Regularly kneel repetitively for shift.
• Move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Stretch and reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Use a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• Differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
• Perform tasks requiring repetitive wrist movement.
• Interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Other Attributes

• May require various shifts, weekends, holidays, and alternative work schedules.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.

Pay

$17–$18 per hour. The compensation range or hourly rate listed is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
