Responsibilities
- Maintaining all equipment needed for forging operation.
- Operating press & manipulators, remote crane, and forge furnaces.
- Reviewing and verifying forging assignments, ingots scheduled to strip, and movements of ingots/forgings between furnace and forge press.
- Maintaining the startup and shutdown of the forge press and manipulators.
- Making forging sticks and hot cutting forgings.
- Reporting all deviations from production specifications, equipment problems, and issues.
- Performing other department duties, as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
- Must be capable of lifting 60-80lbs occasionally throughout shift.
- Exposed to seasonal temperature changes.
- Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous foundry experience is preferred.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and use a tape measure/ruler.
- Good math skills are necessary.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Pay
- Competitive wages starting at $24.20/hr with potential for higher compensation based on experience and skills.
Schedule
- This position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.
